We offer 17 AI portrait styles across three categories — Classic Art (Oil Painting, Watercolour, Van Gogh, Pencil Sketch, Line Art, Charcoal, Coloured Pencil, Pastel), Portrait (Cute Portrait, Royal Portrait, Cozy Studio, Vintage Photo), and Character (Cartoon, Storybook, Anime, Superhero, Pop Art). You can generate up to 5 styles at once and pick your favourite.

Most portraits are ready in under 90 seconds. We run all your selected styles in parallel so you get multiple results quickly. In rare cases of high demand it may take a few minutes.

A well-lit, front-facing photo with your pet's face clearly visible gives the best results. Natural daylight near a window is ideal. Avoid blurry, heavily shadowed, or very dark images. Visit our Photo Guide for detailed tips and examples.

Yes, our AI focuses on your pet and can work with most backgrounds. A plain background is always best for clean results, but cluttered or busy backgrounds are generally fine — the AI will stylise them as part of the artwork.

You can, but our AI is optimised for single-pet portraits and gives the best results when one pet is the clear subject. For multi-pet portraits, we recommend uploading separate photos of each pet and ordering individual prints — you'll also get an automatic 30% discount on the second portrait.

Absolutely — many of our customers order memorial portraits. Any clear photo of your pet works, no matter how old. It's a beautiful way to preserve their memory.

Yes! Our AI works with any pet — rabbits, birds, horses, guinea pigs, reptiles, and more. As long as your photo is clear and well-lit, we can create a portrait of any animal.

To keep the service fair for everyone, AI portrait generation is limited to 5 sessions per IP address per 24 hours. Your limit resets the following day. In the meantime, you can still use the "Frame My Photo" option to frame your original uploaded photo with no daily limit.

Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 business days of purchase and arrive within 5–7 business days of dispatch. Most US and Canada customers receive their portrait within 7–9 business days total.

Yes — once your order has shipped we will send you an email with your tracking number so you can follow your parcel every step of the way. You can also check your order status anytime at pawtraitly.net/track using your order number and email address.

Visit our Track Order page at pawtraitly.net/track, enter the order number from your confirmation email and the email address you used at checkout, and we'll show you the current status of your order. Once shipped, a tracking link to the carrier will appear there too.

We currently ship within the United States and Canada only. International shipping is something we're working on — sign up for our emails to be notified when it launches.

Orders can be cancelled or changed within 24 hours of purchase. After that, production may have already begun and changes may not be possible. Please contact us through our contact page as soon as possible if you need to make a change.

If a parcel is returned to us, we'll reach out to confirm your address and arrange reshipment. If the return was due to an address error on our end, reshipment is free. If it was due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, a reshipment fee may apply.

We offer a wide range of print sizes from 6×6 in up to 24×36 in — over 25 options in total. Available sizes vary by frame style; compatible sizes are shown automatically when you select a frame.

All portraits are printed on premium heavyweight matte photo paper using archival-quality inks for lasting colour. Canvas prints are printed on museum-grade canvas and hand-stretched.

We carry Canvas, Matte Poster, Premium Luster, Poster With Mat, and Framed Canvas — each available in multiple colour finishes. Your portrait arrives ready to hang.

Yes — if you purchased a Digital Pack, you have the high-resolution file and can reprint it anywhere, anytime. If you didn't purchase the Digital Pack and need a reprint, contact us with your order number and we'll do our best to help.

The Digital Pack gives you high-resolution, watermark-free downloads of all your AI portrait styles. After purchase you'll receive an email with a secure link valid for 7 days. It's $12.99, or completely free when your physical print subtotal reaches $50.

After your payment is confirmed, we email you a secure download link. Click it to open a page where you can save each portrait style individually. The link is valid for 7 days — contact us through our contact page if you need it resent.

Yes! When you add a second (or more) physical print to your cart, a 30% multi-pet discount is automatically applied to each additional item. No code needed.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay, all processed securely via Stripe.

Because every print is custom-made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, we will reprint and reship at no charge — your satisfaction is guaranteed. Please contact us through our contact page or email support@pawtraitly.net with your order number and a photo of the damage within 14 days of delivery. We'll get a replacement out to you right away.

Before placing your order, you'll see watermarked preview versions of every style you generated and can pick the one you love most. If your final print arrives and looks materially different from the preview you selected, contact us and we'll make it right. AI results can vary slightly in colour and detail, which is why we show previews before you commit to an order.
